Contributions to Society

• Jury Member Egypt Government Excellence Award 2019, organized by the UAE Prime Minister’s Office
• Jury member of Dubai Government Excellence Program during 2008, organized by the Executive Office
• Jury member of Arabian CSR (2010) award organized by the Emirates Environmental Group
• Chief assessor (2009) & trainer for the Emirates Women Award, organized by the Dubai Quality Group.
• Among the founders of Dubai Quality Group and also served as chairman during 1999-2000.
• I have shared my knowledge and supported a large number of government and private organization. These organizations include, Knowledge & Human Development Authority, Emirates NBD, Dubai Water & Electricity Authority (DEWA), Prime Minister’s Office, Emirates Airlines, Jabel Ali Free Zone Authority, Al-Ain Distribution Company, Al Ansari Exchange.
• Within the GCC region the organizations I have supported include, Al Hassan Group (Sultanate of Oman), Bahrain Petroleum co. (Bapco) Gulf Petroleum Industrial Corporation, Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (Bahrain), SABIC (Saudi Arabia) etc.
• Member syllabus advisory committee of the Higher Colleges of Technology for 10 years (1990 – 2000).
• I supported the establishment of Emirates Environmental Group (1990), UAE. Since then I have been an honorary member of the group.
• I have received many accolades for my contributions to society, these include the life time award for employee involvement award from DQG, the KANOO award for rendering professional services to the society, The Global HR Excellence award etc.
• I was member of the Corporate Sustainability Management forum at International Management Institute ((IMD) Switzerland (2000 -2003).
• I have participated as speaker in a wide range of conferences both in UAE and overseas.
